Verizon seems hell-bent on PR suicide! Let them have it then. They will reap the whirlwind. Company cheerleaders just don't get it, this is not the year for Union-busting.

A perfect example of the sort of thinking that got Verizon into this position in the 1st place. You should make that post Verizon's next commercial.
We like our jobs we just feel we have unenlightened upper management. Bad PR might cause them to change course. In the end, the bad public image has been entirely generated by poor decisions by upper management (just one example being those "supercookies".)
Most of the people who don't know or don't care about the strike are probably older people reading mainstream media or watching television. The coveted millennials live on the internet, and Bernie Sanders is their favorite candidate. Of course they know we are on strike. They don't like things like supercookies either.
You union people really are insane. You support a dwindling , insignificant piece of the market. Now you are offered a VERY good contract and you want to refuse. Listen little men, you will NOT get more than you had, you will not get what you had. You should get down on your knees and kiss Lowell's ring for what he has offered you because it is FAR more then you are worth.
Union logic at its finest here. Cheer for the bad pr that the company is getting, surpress its earnings, BUT expect to keep what you have or make a gain.
Most of the country has no idea there's a strike going on. Hell, most of the country has no idea Verizon wireline exists

You don't get it. Its all about the brand. Verizon brand is taking a hit. If you work for Verizon to see that.

No one mentions the money Verizon saved NOT paying any raise since to CWA members since last August; they're not going retroactive.
2% x $1500 weekly salary = $30. Raise X 40,000 members = 1.2 MILLION.
Now multiply by 35 weeks (Aug 1, 2015 to Apr 28, 2016) = 42 MILLION DOLLARS
Don't kid yourself, the public could give a sh--. They have other things on their minds. They bitch about Verizon, they bitch about Comcast, they bitch about AT&T. Most of them don't even know Verizon is on strike. You know how hard it is to find an article about the strike? Googling gets you about a half dozen articles, most of them a week or two old.
You just don't get it. It isn't even about the union, The public now hate Verizon. Way to go!
