Does our employee discount still work during the liquidation sale. I know that the store is closing and that everything is on sale already, but they mark everything up to regular price just to market down and everything actually ends up being more expensive then it would be regularly. And we are staying until the closing of the store so do we still get that employee benefit.? My Sears store will be closing soon...

Yeah, those "Shop Your Way" (a registered trademark) points. Last week we had customers who bought items that said they would receive 100% in SYW points. Well fast forward a few days after and the customer wants to redeem said points. There are not in their account. After hours on the phone with the help center they were finally told that it was a mistake and they would not get their point. To bad so sad. Way to keep the customers happy.
You see, Sears does care about it's employees. Associate discounts allowed during liquidation. That is the best, anyone could ask for, AND you get to rack-up those "Shop Your Way" points. For the dedicated and long-time employees, it is a lovely way, to say, GOOD BY.
Yes, you still get to use your associate discount during the liquidation sale. You can earn and redeem Shop Your Way points as well.
