Expecting a round of layoffs come executive buy-in in May. As a long-time EDSer, I was wondering if anyone knows whether EDS service time is included in the HPE severance package service time. The FAQs are a bit ambiguous, stating if there was an agreement at the time of acquisition. Anyone know?

EDS and previous employee (total years of service) count in Australia
Yes it counts but you now get one week for every year up to 11 years and then 40 percent of balance

I (a US employee) was laid off in July 2015 and my EDS years counted towards my severance.
Yes, EDS time counts.
16 years when I got wfr 2 years ago and yes my eds years did count towards my severance.
I am a former long time EDS/HP employee. I was part of the large 2014 WFR. In the US, my EDS years did NOT count toward severance, only the HP time was counted.
