----------------URGENT We were just informed that this event has been changed to TODAY, Tuesday at 1PM. All available members please make every effort to attend. Break down every line and get to DC! This is at the direction of Ed Mooney.
Bring your VZW signs and join with CWA President Chris Shelton, AFL President Trumka and our neighboring CWA Locals to show them what DC METRO solidiarity looks like. Picketing will take place at the Verizon Wireless store located at 1314 F St NW Washington tomorrow beginning at 1PM.
The location is a short 2 minute walk from the Metro Center Metro Station. Mileage and Metro fare is reimbursable, garage parking (if available) is on your own.
This event will be considered additional duty and all members are urged to attend. Please arrive by 1PM and plan on staying until at least 4:30.
