Thread regarding Follett layoffs

It can be done!

after several long months battling Follett, I won!!! they avoiding to be taken to court, and with the help of the attorney generals office, I was able to gain a larger package than offered, (full years salary) all fees paid by Follett and Cobra benefits until 1/2017. TROLL this! Too bad Follett will not comment for fear. I can only mention that and not the details per the 4/16 severance agreement.

All I can say is HR failed big time for not taking something seriously when it was presented to them.

Sure it sounds great that you WON, but watch out when you apply for future employment it might work against you having litigation against prior employment. The whole picture is yet to be seen. Hopefully it doesn't hinder you in the future best of luck to you

Good for you - I'm sure the rest of you will jump on the bandwagon to come up with some completely bogus to settle out of court as well

Cheers!!

Was it racial discrimination? Were you White or Black and lost a job to a Brown? Let's just cut to the chase, I heard some people talk that there has been race issues...

Or maybe it was harassment....wish you could give us a hint!

Have to wonder what the scope of this settlement was. Options, basis for a class action lawsuit?
