AT&T planning a strikers switch plan

If you have vz wireless don't even think of making a payment!!!!!

There's a plan in the works to offer all Union strikers at Verizon to switch to AT&T whereas AT&T will pay off all your outstanding charges , give you new phones (trade in credits for your existing phones) and give you a better deal then you have now. And the best is there are no payments due until the strike is settled and you are back to work.

Remember AT&T is a union wireless company

This will be offered in the upcoming weeks sometime in May

One day longer, one day stronger

I have a family plan with 5 lines plus a tablet making that 6

I'm sure many members have family plans with at least 3 to 4 lines minimum

Believe me any drop in market share, customers, device plans, etc will make investors notice

Strike is a war. And war is ugly

You fools are shooting yourselves in the foot. Unless you quit it is stupid to want to financially hurt the company that employs you and handles your pension. Find another job along with your new cellphone.

I like that idea! Very nice. 40,000 customers who may hauve atleast 2.5 lines between them, with spouse and kids, and perhaps can influence at least 10 mom, dad, brother, sister, friend to switch to ATT or T-Mobile.

That could be a churn of up to 500,000 customers. That's a lot.

I've had VZ since Bell Atlantic. I'm ready to jump to AT&T. No reason for loyalty to Verizon with lamebrain Lowell walking around.

Good idea.

40000 striking employees move the cell phone accounts to AT&T. Assuming $40 per line per month, and an average of 2 lines per employee family, that would cost Verizon $3.2M in revenue each month. That's $38.4M per year.

That's about a penny per outstanding share in annual revenue (according to Yahoo Finance, there are 4.08 billion outstanding shares.

That will certainly put a hurting on evil Verizon.
