Call up the mediators and tell them we are ready to talk now. No sense in us standing around not getting paid anymore. Sanders, is done Hillary will be the next president and we played our part as extras in the NY primary show.

With out the Unions hand in my pocket, this fake union member is making more money on strike than he would be at work so keep on striking.

Right around the 28th or 29th, we will here about mediation and be back to work. The worthless politicians (I wouldn't care if Bernie or Hilary gave us a contract, neither are getting a vote from me) have left NY, taking the strike out of the limelight. Everyone got a check last week, and will get a partial one this week, so it has been all fun and games driving to picket duty and chasing management around, but there will be no check on the 29th. Then there is that little issue with medical being canceled on the 30th... thanks for the half of month Union leadership! Combine all those issues with the latest bargaining update that basically says the company's position is still take it or leave it, the union won't be able to hold back the tide of people crossing the line at the end of the month, hence accepting mediation to save face and the union as a whole. Just my take as a union member who hasn't bought into the hype from either side.
