The people picketing at our location have been very respectful, I was really surprised after hearing from others past experiences, I do feel bad because this is going to be dragged out until the company gets what they need to secure the next wireline sale. No other company will buy until significant language changes occur. Once this strike ends the sale will begin, going to get a lot worse, thanks for being decent out there, makes it easier

First-line mgmt. will never unionize. They're too afraid. They'll bitch and moan when the execs aren't around. Suck up to them when they are around. Stab they're co-workers in the back when they're not looking. And dread every workday till they get RIF'd. They have no spine. The H1B Visa folks even look down on them .... knowing they are being trained by the people they will replace.
1st level management needs to unionize.
Yep, @tjd is a prime example of what most think of unions
This thread is a great example of why the union has such a poor reputation.
if management walks will you stay out for us? we all know that answer so don't be so stupid and tell us to go out.
Every soldier works to feed their family. No one really cares about winning or losing because they have no say in the battle. The kings and their ministers declares the war. They knew that you need money to feed your family. And the foot soldiers are sometimes contract soldiers (remember the contract soldiers from Asia who fought for US in gulf war, along with poor US soldiers).
op that also means you will lose your job
Must be a supervisor PUKE
you're still working their and crossing the picket line so your no better than any other scab slime.
