Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Conway

There's tons of rumors swarming the Conway location regarding WFRs and forced relocation to Plano Texas. Does anyone know what the future of Conway looks like for the departments in this building? When would a WFR occur? Several dates have been speculated, but they're still hiring in Conway. Some say that HPE renewed their Conway lease until 2024, is there any truth to this? They have consolidated teams and are discussing the filling up the building. No announcements have been made of another company or department being added to the building. Please share any thoughts you may have.

HPE is not allowed to RECRUIT from Insight and insight is not allowed to recruit from HPE for 24 months. There is no official hiring ban. The rumor mill states that Plano will be moving to a pure call center to generate leads rather than conduct true business, so Conway site may end up being better off with insight. Supposedly HPE fired 20 field reps in California yesterday, so who knows about the viability of upward mobility within the company. I imagine insight and those who go with them will benefit significantly from these cuts and veteran reps.

Update: Plano is not allowed to hire Conway reps. Information disclosed in offboarding (is that even a thing?) packet states that we are ineligible to work for HPE for a year.

HPE management pulled all of Inside Sales Conway off campus today and told them they'd been sold off like a truckload of cheap h--kers to a company called Insight Global. Best of luck to any other remaining organizations tied to Inside Sales Conway!

It appears that hiring is on freeze in Conway but offers being extended in Plano, not to mention all hands meeting on Monday that has no dial in. Rumors in the field say no Conway by 2017, haven't heard whether extension has been signed. Recent major rearrange of office and reduction of support staff would lead one to believe something big is happening.

Conway is one of HPE's low-cost designated regional delivery centers ... they're hiring tons of fresh college talent there so I doubt they move away from there.
