Thread regarding Follett layoffs

To RG

Ok...enough is enough...time to get this ball rolling. The tactics are working wonders...how many can we get to leave on there own. Promise them more communication and just leave them hanging. Handing down scripts to blow smoke about how great strategists their leaders are. If you value your teams in the field like you say...you wouldn't leave them hanging like this. Just wondering...how many store managers were invited to the leadership conference? Oh wait, that's right, they were bullied into taking some "anonymous" survey that was aimed more at their loyalties to the company.

Seriously. MLS/DG spoke openly about what was happening and their plans. Regular town halls to keep everyone up to speed and building engagement that we were all part of something. Now we sit in the field and it is like the HO doesn't exist.

One can only assume that there is no strategy moving forward.

If employees leave on their own it doesn't look so bad for Follett on record. Layoff or letting go, eliminating positions look worse but they will still have excuses to explain those decisions.
