Fort Lupton Camp in Colorado

Just got the word here in Houston the Fort Lupton camp will be laying off half of the camp. Good luck out there.

The first layoffs will be those whose jobs require a CDL they do not yet have, as the licensing/schooling is expensive.

Next will come "non-essential" personnel. If positions can be consolidated or outsourced to a third party contractor for less money, they likely will be.

Last will come deep cuts. Those who simply have no work to do as a Halliburton employee in their role, have had unsatisfactory performance, and those costing more than similarly trained employees.

Wonder how many will be left on the west side of the tracks, specifically, in the OLD mechanics shop?
