I think the poster of this thread is trying to correlate dish layoffs and directtv. There is some correlation. Satellite TV is a dying industry. More people are switching to cable for either TV and or Internet. The rise of cord cutters is also hurting dish tv. The only unit writhing dish tv that is growing is slingtv. That is why AT&T is soon to launch streaming tv as well. What is happening with dish tv is going to happen with directtv.
What does Dish have to do with AT&T?
The poster is correct. Dish is not renewing their building lease and letting the people go
