The last post made by a VP or Director sums up today's Follett well. Have it in Chicago where more associates could attend, or fly a few select SVP's, VP's and Directors on a extravagant trip to CA. Guess which one the new Follett chooses, the one that benefits the few in high places.

A sales meeting in Chicago actually costs more because more local associates attend and you have to feed them. Have the facts before you make idiotic comments.
Sales are way down but yet Follett can still afford an all exclusive round trip/hotel to California for the annual sales meeting for all sales when they can have it here at a lessor cost.. Bullshit rumors that the publisher is picking up the tab. How frickn stupid do they believe the associates are.
The union should demand cuts in the executive suite, pay cuts and bonus elimination at the highest levels before they negotiate any concession. These losses are due to executive failure, to failure to execute.
Sales are way down , I think more cuts are coming
