Sad to watch the demise of a giant in this industry maybe someone will wise up and replace management

Verizon cant get out of its own way.
Too stupid and top heavy.
Too greedy.
It is sad, but Verizon experienced over a decade of strong growth and now that is over. Verizon does not know how to do anything but telecom and that is all it is known for. No matter how hard it tried to become a "technology" company. Besides, real technology companies are not based in New Jersey.
History will show 2014 was the peak year for Verizon and then the downward spiral began in 2015.
The issue is that VZ is that most of the combined companies were monopolies. Basically anyone could have built them. Now the companies have to compete. Wireless wasnt a monopoly, but the market was full of collusion, so no real competition. The VZ management continues to buy companies that are in fully competitive markets, but then try to get them to assimilate to the VZ monopoly culture (usually by getting rid of their executive management structure).
I dont think changing the current VZ executive structure would help. The monopolist culture is too ingrained throughout for a few to change.
Sadly, they will replace the one's that care about the customer. The reason we are all here!!!
