Whoever is commenting on Sperry's RS & Ranging tech...
1) Sperry RS is junk. Low run reliability & high turn over cost (95% more than Baker RS). It needs to be redesigned, not debugged.
2) Sperry doesn't own the ranging market. Perhaps 3 years ago. However, Scientific has recently released a new tool that outperformed wellspot (Sperry's interception PSL). Scientific also has replaced Sperry on multiple major projects using its MRT tool. Marksman Ranging (Scientific) is made up of the brightest mind sperry has ever produced. Now that he has left the company and with Scientific, Halliburton has tried to sue him repeatedly, but have failed in a court of law to succeed. Sperry keeps talking about a new tool but has yet to release it.
I know this because I used to work for Sperry & now I've taken my talents to the new ranging leader, Scientific.
Customers were forced into using Sperry for years. Now that they have a choice, they want anybody BUT Sperry.

When Sperry's telemetry gets upgraded & bugs worked out of it RS, it'll be bad ass.
One more thing, who has (and continues) to OWN the magnetic ranging market? That's right, you guessed it, SPERRY DRILLING.
