Does a casual dress code mean a happier staff? I guess that's what the top of the company believes. At least people will be in more comfortable clothing when they are shown the door. Easier to carry your personal belonging in jeans. I've been with Follett for 20 years. That means I'll be posting as a former employee before long.

If nice clothes aren't a requirement, perhaps that will justify less nice pay? THat's a stretch. Hopefully management will take it upon themselves to wear the big red noses, orange wigs and floppy shoes. You gotta dress the part, right?

It is a small, small, small benefit that doesn't cost the company a dime. At least it is not a cut in benefits.
Never understood the dress code anyway! Does it really matter what you're wearing when giving excellent customer service and helping students and parents navigate your store?
FSC is looking empty too. Moving people to FLR a group at a time. Throwing in a few lay offs with each move.
Guess there is no dress code to get laid off . Aurora building looking more empty every week . I think they are shipping out more jobs than books . I see the only orders we are shipping out are return to vendor books because they dint sell .
