Thread regarding NetApp (formerly Network Appliance Inc.) layoffs

What is the package? Is it a good package?

What is the package they are offering?

How may weeks per year if service? Do they carry you on payroll for a while? Any details?

It's 2 months on payroll, plus whatever bonus pays out in July, plus: 4 weeks severance (incl paid COBRA premiums) for 0-2 years of service and 1 week for every year after that -- 12 weeks max.

Severance cap was 12 weeks when I got it in 2014.

I dont think it is 2 weeks for every year. That would be good if it happens.

The break out I have seen in the past is :

63 days of pay.

Prorated bonus.

Unused vacation.

1 week for every 1 year at netapp.

In the past, it's been 60 days paid including medical, plus 2 weeks for each year, plus vacation, plus any RSUs that are close to maturity.

Good luck

I was going to quit a few weeks ago, but my boss unofficially told me to hang on and wait for the payout before I give my resignation. I hope it's good. Last couple of weeks I have collected two checks. #sorryNotSorry
