new process to write up union corporate store employees. going to new performance plans for district manager on down that make it easier to track and get rid of people. Many Indirect channel internal employees in great danger of getting layoff notices very soon and are being tracked on their devices in real time rather than breadcrumb tracking. goal for retail channel is get rid of people and avoid paying as much severance pay as possible.

Millenials are potentially disruptive to Att's culture. Esp the millenials that ATT wants. Unions are subtext to this conversation. Keep up...
This is laughable. Private sector union membership is down to 6.7%. Millennials don't support unions. Any unemployed millennial can answer a poll question. The word support implies you are doing something. Millennials don't own homes, get married later, don't plan to have children, and aren't willing to switch jobs to look for more pay. These are all hard facts. There people are self-interested, don't like change, are risk adverse, and have less siblings. There is no chance these people are putting their necks on the line to fight for union membership. They are all soft and have been trained to fall in line.
I think millenials are the biggest threat to ATT period. It will be hard to attract and retain talent at all levels, with the culture issues going on right now. This carnage is all about cleaning up failed buys with people's jobs. Randall will soon have to account for his messes and misses, and I think there will be a group of millennials and maybe even young x'ers who will do just that. This is the perfect case study and cautionary tale of an over paid ceo, top heavy lack luster leadership and the inability to innovate and pivot where it counts and matters. And most importantly an inability to curate interesting content and platforms and monetize them.
they hate unions and they will get rid of them
most people do not have courage to support unions
70% of millennial support unions
millennial support will be a huge problem for att bosses
