Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Same

Nielsen does the same thing. We're working 12-16 hour days six days a week since January. Most of our time is spent driving. They're trying to make it so our driving time isn't eligible for overtime.

They say it will help us since overtime eats into bonus potential, but we haven't been bonus eligible for years. It's like getting passed around to get f---ed by anyone who wants a turn.

Ver-lie-zon does the same to it's field techs except driving time is paid for as any other "work time" and is subject to overtime provisions.

12,13,14,15,16 hour days. Forced last minute overtime. Cannot make family plans----because the company is ran by the minute and every single little problem here is a 5-alarm fire that needs put out, RIGHT NOW----and so we need you to stay.

Then when you do stay TO HELP THE COMPANY they pull GPS audits and continue to harass you about time.
