Obviously fire then but anyone remember back in 2011 if many just go f--- this and leave?

Last strike to my memory only a few did. A lot of em would play the 1 day sick game. Since it was 2011 many were thankful to just have a job. Now I could see it happening more especially for the skilled labor sections (IT, accounting, engineering) which the market has picked up somewhat.
Many walked last time after a few days. Secretaries sent from 3 states away to help with outside plant. At least they showed up then. Now, who knows? Who knows what people were told.
Last year when the Work Stoppage training started the retirement interest rates were at record lows (means higher payouts) . It was at that time those that didn't want to go retired. I doubt at this point that many managers can afford to just up and leave.
