Bloomberg and Yahoo! both announced Verizon has agreed to a federal mediator. No word from the CWA or IBEW yet.

Amazing, the unions had their contract and their strike stolen from them in broad daylight, and there will be no repercussions. Interesting. I was wondering why the pulse never quickened around the company. Because they all knew from the beginning.

Actually this is what might proprell Bernie or Trump. If you can't trust the union, the management, the congress or the government anymore, that sounds like the makings for trouble.

I called it on several other posts... No strike... lol... Wonder if it was the only union leadership that called to ask the mediators to see if they would step in... No big strike to propel Bernie in the White House...

That has to be the most blatant sell out strategy that I have ever seen in all of my years. The membership should hire an investigation firm to look into this because it is pretty clear that their negotiators did not have their memebers best interests in mind during their negotiations. They are about to get screwed for the last time. "There won't be another contract after this."
