We have the worst network reliability in the world. My comcast xfinity internet at 25mbps is faster and more reliable than follett's gigabit lan.
I think it is rolling out in stages. My store is the month before rush. Great timing.

It is probably time for the IT leadership to vacation in India AGAIN and watch the offshore teams code. That will fix it, money well spent.

"designed and implemented to increase speed"?. How could that be, you move 1500 stores on one shared database server and have slow network connectivity from the stores to the home office versus in store dedicated server for one store.
Oh yea, wait until the network is done or slow and you will really appreciate that new application.

I imagine when all stores are on at the same time it will run even slower. Kind of like my.work did on Monday mornings
The new system find at about 1/4 the speed of the old system. Last semester it took me 20 min to copy and paste my biggest class to all its sections and enter in the QTC's. Now it took me almost 2 hours. And this is summer not spring
