Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

After reading this...I hope Halliburton gets everything the DOJ has planned. What a bunch of sneaky ..... You can see the DOJ's lawsuit attached. Interesting to say the least

DOJ is right. Shareholders should revolt. I would be embarrassed to be apart of HAL's board. Reading the article (and the lawsuit). There is NO WAY this will be overturned. Now Dicky Bird Dave & his marry men will fight to save face & just keep digging their graves (if not anywhere else, with the EU/DOJ & public opinion). The EU will follow in lock step with the DOJ. HAL/BHI needs to drop this and move on. They should look to the stock price (as it has jumped up since yesterday's news) and take notice: the markets don't like the M&A, viewing it as a millstone around both companies necks. I just feel bad for the people working for one of these companies.

I particularly like the Asst Atty General who heads the anti-trust division comment that the deal is unfixable. And Fuelfix's comments that this lawsuit could take years to resolve. Will shareholders revolt next month?
