After reading this...I hope Halliburton gets everything the DOJ has planned. What a bunch of sneaky ..... You can see the DOJ's lawsuit attached. Interesting to say the least

DOJ is right. Shareholders should revolt. I would be embarrassed to be apart of HAL's board. Reading the article (and the lawsuit). There is NO WAY this will be overturned. Now Dicky Bird Dave & his marry men will fight to save face & just keep digging their graves (if not anywhere else, with the EU/DOJ & public opinion). The EU will follow in lock step with the DOJ. HAL/BHI needs to drop this and move on. They should look to the stock price (as it has jumped up since yesterday's news) and take notice: the markets don't like the M&A, viewing it as a millstone around both companies necks. I just feel bad for the people working for one of these companies.
I particularly like the Asst Atty General who heads the anti-trust division comment that the deal is unfixable. And Fuelfix's comments that this lawsuit could take years to resolve. Will shareholders revolt next month?
Who is right here? DOJ or HAL?
