Divestiture Revolt

How do proposed divestitures revolt? He can one remain focused in good conscience, knowing what we know? There must be a way to show big red we deserve to be treated better. Both Baker and Halliburton employees have been the shuttlecocks in this nightmare. It's just not right.

The way for any shareholder to express dissatisfaction is to vote against the board in the upcoming proxy votes if you are a shareholder. Voting them off, or at least showing a new majority against the board (which includes Dave Lesar and Jeff Miller) will indicate to investors the level of dissatisfaction. Ultimately the major investors will be the ones to pressure the board into change and even nominate new board members to replace the shower that currently runs Halliburton today.

oh come on, get over it already. damn. no doubt your leaders, directors and managers have set directions and goals for sperry that will deliver new product, working product, measurable efforts, new ideas, new approaches, reliability, quality. It's been well over a year now, and rest assured the steps have been taken to assure a bright and secure future going forward with whomever the business partner may be. Management HAS YOUR BACK. Yes ! Now ! We must all make amends. Go back to your desks, go back to your work, less coffee on the island, more coffee with a pencil in your hand, less pumping iron and more pumping ideas and brainstorms. Myself? well, I am delighted to be here, and I'm particularly delighted to be here on this occasion. We have a lot of things to do and a lot of hard things. Not talking about what we know or what you or others may not know or avoiding change because that may lead to less dependency or less focus upon "MY" or "ME" or your own particualar knowledgebase. But why these hard things? Why. Why. Why? Son! We choose to do hard things. We choose to do these things as well as do other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too. Now, i may not get there with you, but we must all get there just the same.

Waaaaaaa. What a bunch of entitled crybabies. "Life isn't fair!!" "I deserve respect!!" "My tummy hurts!!!"

This is the oilfield son, not some federal work project which exists to support the un-hireable. When I first hired on it was: "If you can't do it you can't stay!" The oilfield ain't for the weak willys - get with it or get out.

Sperry employees definitely need to be compensated for the failed merger. Atleast the Canadian side, it has been so unfair.

Sperry needs to file a lawsuit against Halliburton for all its been through. Ask to be divested anyway.
