Hello All - I am researching message boards relating to BP layoffs due to the recent O&G downturn.
The information is scarce. Would someone be able to help me out by replying with a list of major geographic locations that are affected (a major metro location is fine as well - e.g., Houston).
In full disclosure, I will post this message to Exxon's and Shell's boards as well.
Can you write an article on them? I would love to share my experiences. The movie on Macondo was a good start.
For BP? Major cities affected by 2104-2016 layoffs are Houston, Chicago, Naperville, Warrenville, Cherry point, Wayne, some in Whiting, international that I know of in Sunbury, Aberdeen, Budapest, Castellon, and the Asian refineries/ chemical plants. Cheers.
Nashville, Miami, Seattle, Fairbanks, Boise, St. Paul were the major oil cities hit during the downturn.
