The Peter principle is used in software engineering to describe a dying project which has become too complex to be understood even by its own developers. So much for H1b visas. Our systems stink.
Huh?
"The selection of a candidate for a position is based on the candidate's performance in their current role, rather than on abilities relevant to the intended role..." i.e, doomed for failure. Enough said.
The Peter principle.
The ID that created has a degree in...public health. Doesn't know how to create a proper test bank of questions. That's what follett has digressed into, hire your buddies not the most qualified. Sad, just sad.
They are doing this, I will bet, because store managers are going to become text managers. Many store managers haven't done anything in CT since the original training. I do text in my store, for years, and this training is awful, so boring that it puts you to sleep. Also I find much of it confusing for the most basic task.
Its pretty difficult to do the tests when you are alone in the store with no additional help. Was told I could access the tests at home I THINK NOT! They must think I'm a devoted idiot!
Those 'exams' are a joke. I've been doing this for quite some time yet can't seem to pass the exams after MULTIPLE attempts. Yesterday I had to walk away because I was going to punch my computer in frustration. What. A. Joke. I'm not learning anything nor am I taking anything positive away from this experience. I just want to get it done but for some reason I can't pass these damn exams.
Truly awesome. Not
