We continue to prove to the Executives they are right with boards like this one. They say we can never be a cohesive respectful team. There is too much divide between union and management and it plays out terribly to our customers. There is no respect for the other on both sides. We bad mouth each other to anyone who will listen, even our customers. By ripping each other apart we prove them right over and over again. I don't know you and what skills you have and vice versus. Wireless employees on both side work with integrity and respect. Like it or not we don't follow their lead and this is why we are outranked by them, contractors, vendors, etc. Landline employees are becoming obsolete and we can only look in the mirror for the blame. Until we change the divide, we will continue to lose and work our way out of our jobs.

We will prove something to them if we elect Bernie Sanders. The peasants are getting angry. It is about time don't you think?
The only way you can survive in verizon is by suckling up and playing politics and pretending that you work. Verizon encourages that culture. It is their actual credo.
Another verizon troll...a mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted as a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance. synonyms: goblin, hobgoblin, gnome, halfling, demon, monster, bugaboo, ogre
wireless works with integrity...haha
Hey wjs or should i just say OP...There is only Big shots on one side, and the Union (employees) fighting for there jobs on the other side.
I respect the union workers because without them and their pay, I wouldn't have a job or my high pay. I understand everyone's opinions but it is out of our control. Unfortunately the big shots on both sides will make the decisions we all then have to live and work with. I hope it works out for us all and soon.
C'mon ksv, you're the troll OP so agreeing with yourself is meaningless. Instead, answer the questions and support your point of view.
Your 100% right OP.
Hey OP, you say:
We continue to prove to the Executives they are right with boards like this one. They say we can never be a cohesive respectful team. There is too much divide between union and management and it plays out terribly to our customers.
When did any executive ever say that?
You say:
There is no respect for the other on both sides. We bad mouth each other to anyone who will listen, even our customers. By ripping each other apart we prove them right over and over again.
I disagree. My particular foreman appreciates his people. I can't speak for all but, then again, you cannot either. Yet that does not stop you.
You say:
Wireless employees on both side work with integrity and respect. Like it or not we don't follow their lead and this is why we are outranked by them, contractors, vendors, etc.
First off, I don't believe for one second that you're one of us, so cut the "we" nonsense out. Why are you using the term outranked? Do you mean outnumbered and, if so, the reasons you're presenting are in no way the reason for the disparity in numbers. It was instead the hurdles to unionization that were placed.
You say:
Landline employees are becoming obsolete and we can only look in the mirror for the blame.
How's that. Explain yourself. If I were to buy your contention which, by the way, I do not but, if I were to buy your contention that landline employees are becoming obsolete due to some action on their own part, what counteraction do you propose that will turn this situation around. C'mon smarty, what is it that a unionized landline worker has the power of doing that will turn this situation around? Or, is it that you're simply full of it preacher?
You say,
Until we change the divide, we will continue to lose and work our way out of our jobs.
Okay, once again, what's your solution. How, precisely, are you recommending the unionized workforce change and what, in your all-knowing opinion will it lead to genius?
I will suspend my tendency not to badmouth an individual and make an exception in your singular case. You're an idiot. You have nothing but false platitudes to offer up, and no solutions whatsoever. Your argument is based on nothing, zilch, zero. How old are you?
OP is a Basking Ridge "Plant" / Troll
PSC's and PUC's are not doing their jobs regarding Verizon's service.. 14 mayors and various other politicians have sent them a letter telling them to get their act together. Read Bruce Kushnick articles on Huffpost. The public has been sold out.
OP, I have never crossed the line where I bad-mouthed management to a customer. I won't even badmouth a manager to another manager. Nor does my foreman badmouth craft to other craft. We are a professional shop who follows protocol.
So stow your "wireless employees work with integrity and respect talk" because, in attempting to draw such false differences, you're doing exactly what you're supposedly railing against. You're a pompous phony, so get off your high horse. BTW, I think you're a troll as well, misrepresenting yourself to put forth another agenda.
Who caused this divide??? The Union??? What exactly did they do??? except mind there own business, and what??? Not want to get shoved out the door??? Watch as top executives shove wads of money deeper into their own pockets, and know what?... who cares.. That's there business. I don't care how much money they take. But why shove me out the door? What are you blaming the Union for? Exactly what I ask you??? Where is the blame on the Union side of a company making Billions of dollars in profit? Somebody please tell me the Union's blame for making Billions of dollars???
We treat customers with compassion. We understand the pain they went through just to get a tech dispatched. If you ever had to call a trouble ticket in, for your service, you would understand. We can only do so much, returning to the fix the same customers service time and time again, you really do feel for them. And the reason we have to return, the plant is like a third world countries. Just look at the northeast states complaining about how Verizon is maintaning the cable. It's the executives that are failing this company, and with zero accountability.
I believe you're a troll OP who's upset with this board's existence.
cua is right. OP, you do not speak for me either.
Speak for yourself. The majority of techs put aside how they are treated by the company in order to keep customers.
