Wonder if the Company is till going to pay CIP bonus to those that were let go as part of the Alpha ROM?

@2ieo, the W2 is used for reporting wages, including severance pay and CIP bonus if you were an active employee during the tax year went wages were paid. If you were terminated in 2015 and receive your prorated CIP bonus in March 2016, you will receive the Form 1099-MISC, not a W2.

Will they issue W2 or 1099-MISC for 2016 if your only income from them was CIP bonus?

Prorated bonus paid for each month the employee was on the active employee payroll (including the 60 day WARN period they sat at home).

Yes, they will get their their prorated CIP bonus. Project Alpha was last year, 2015, so they need not worry. Check gets cut on March 7 and dropped in the US Mail.
