It's funny, everyone talks about the retail side, but, no one talks about crap going on with the commercial side. Just the elimination of delivery and soon furniture delivery and install. Is commercial so intimidated by their higher ups they won't post here?

My understanding is the area sales managers were given the option to become an account manager or leave was done last year sometime?
This is just freaking stupid. As much as I hate Staples for their sleazy HR practices and how they treat retail employees, bottom line I know retail is over extended and cuts need to be made. Close stores that are proven to be unprofitable, transfer those that want to or provide severance. Some stores can actually become profitable by ADDING payroll. The lack of help has driven many customers away, yet Staples just blames the GMs.
Stop the f---ing witch hunts and harassing good people to make them quit to avoid severance. People are getting sick from the stress.
Cutting commercial is just retarded. It drives customers away, just like it did in retail.
If execs can't see this they need to go. If you cut your foot off to appease shareholders it makes it that much harder to achieve the results to appease them next quarter and next FY.
Nothing is happening on the commercial side the same s*** that went on on retail side is going on on the commercial side the same dumb asses that were running it before they laid all the drivers off are now in charge of the courier operations so how do you expect anything to be any different than it was when you had your own drivers if you have the same stupid idiots running the operation still for you. Corporate contracts are dropping them like flies their competitors have their own delivery drivers and are giving them the customer service that they expected when they signed those contracts it's only a matter of time till the competitors have all of the corporate contracts
You can make piles of cash and all the overtime you want. Why would you talk about it? Done mess up a good thing. But if share holder can make a dime they will try any way they can. So no one is safe.
