@FyUlSxC is right on thr money: Verizon is nothing more than a place to make some money. If you keep that in mind and nothing else, you will likely find your stay more paltable. It would be futile however, to challenge the feudal culture at VZ in search of any reason or meaning. There just isn't any. So might as well make some money for as long as you can.
