@IBJYI Correct. There are maybe a grand total of a half dozen politicians left at this point that are actually on the working guys side, but if you get your news from the usual corporate owned sources these are the people that get labelled as "commies" or un-American. (IE Sanders, Warren) In the 2nd Presidential debate I watched Donald Trump say with a straight face " I hate to say it but the American workers pay is too high." Oh, I see, my pay is too high, but your silver spoon head start, love of bankruptcy law, and 10 billion dollar net worth is just right? I listened to another Presidential debate where Hillary Clinton said she saw what Wall St was doing and went to them and told them to "knock it off!" Wow, she was really firm with them, wasn't she? I hear the mafia, instead of breaking kneecaps, is now going to try Hillary's "knock it off" method to collect debts. I have two suggestions for everybody. Start to embrace unions again, and stop being tricked into going against your own interests by big money.

They can't do a thing. But we can do a thing or two :-) Remember this is America. The most developed country in the world. People need to become more active politically, not seeing this, different from USA. Popular opinion all over the world - this is also maybe sterotyping, When TPP was being negotiated, Europeans everywhere, even Canadian farmers were rising up in hordes and coming on streets. Lots of Americans asked me what is TPP or TiPP...... Americans really really need to get pay attention to who we elect.
Without active participation and fear of public , there is no meaning in Democracy and public opinion.
We and the next generations need to get involved at local community levels with politics. Politics is not a dirty word. We need to hold people who we send to Congress ACCOUNTABLE.
:-) The power of social media is great,... let's start getting involved and make sure we send the correct people to power.
Too bad They Can't do a thing....
