Myself and my team received a calendar invite to a 9AM on site required meeting. Sounds like we're getting chopped.

I'm in Santa Clara, most of my team in Florida. Working in a group not directly under any product. All my team got chopped. 20 of us including Director.

The layoffs a few weeks ago was the same. Meeting request the day before and group notification. This is in the US.
In bangalore it seems to be over saw lots of people leaving today
I went through this in February last year. If you are in the UK you will get an email telling you that your role is 'at risk', then the fun begins as there is a strict protocol HR must follow in order to meet the UK's redundancy regulations. It will be mid March to April before you finally know your fate.
Would they fire a bunch of people at the same time like that?
What happens if you decline the invite?
Where are people located who got the invites? Nothing so far in the UK
we also go an invite for a meeting this morning at 9:3am est.
