It doesn't matter how experienced, dedicated, or how diligently you work for Wells Fargo. Nor is tenure always a factor.
Economists are saying we are headed for another economy like 2007/2008. There are some banks in trouble. The current and future markets are driving the layoffs not only for us at Wells Fargo, the whole banking sector is in danger.
Ultimately, layoffs will continue be a part of the current picture. I am truly sorry for any who lose their jobs. If you are being downsized, please, have a plan - get ready for job cuts, prepare your resume, network, look at what's ahead for you after WF. You may have to downsize your life for the present.
But, long term you will come out better than most.
