Has anyone heard if this is still happening in Q1? Or have they cancelled this action?

I heard more layoffs this month for store locations. Something like 1 store a city??
No, the Verizon buying Chipotle angle. Its like no one watches the news
What angle is that? Make everyone sick and give away free crap to try and make up for it?
Dont forget the Chipotle angle.
I am the OP and based on the speculative nature of the responses it sounds like no one knows for sure. Thanks for responding all.
Heeees baaaaaack....
The layoff.com psychologist. Dude do you live on here?
Then we have to go through the painful process of blogging back and forth because inveriably the whistle blower, frustratingly, is emotional and fails to convey any details as to where, who, when and how many.
makes "wall street sense" to do so.
got problems with your wireless account?...speak to bob in india cause he doesnt need benefits and wages like bob in the us needs.
need a new phone? order it online and lowell will pack the box and ship it to your house with a smile cause he doesnt have to worry about those pesky benefits and extremely generous wages Sue has just to be waiting at the store for people who visit it once every year and a half or two. lowell doesnt even have to worry about keeping the stores warm or coolor even paying the electric bill and rent anymore.
dont know how to use ur phone? just watch youtube. there's plenty of people there explaining for free every new detail and feature of that new phone you just bought and if you are still puzzled by the amazing technology, leave a comment under the video so someone can also help you for free.
with so much savings, lowell's face muscles will hurt from smiling so much.
Brick and mortar stores will eventually be closed or sold off.
Heard nothing. Read the different blogs throughout January when everyone was agitated and saying more riffs would occur late In the month. A blogger on here indicated 1250 were let go at a call center in Wilmington NC, but despite a lot of white noise, nothing else came to light. Vz always play cat & mouse games, always have. In this instance probably trying to keep Wall Street in the dark as much as possible.
With regard to your enquirer O/P, we are blind and groping in the dark. I'm sure someone will blog quickly if store closures do occur. Sorry can't be more help, your not alone in searching for answers. Regrettably vz has absolute contempt for its workforce, so we are left to guess what they plan. Just groping in the pile of $hit that vz has become.
Apple stores will eventually create less demand in VZW stores and some of these doors of distribution will be closed.
1st vz buys yahoo.
2nd vz closes, sells off, spins off to fund yahoo purchase.
Wanna bet?
