I read a lot about "something" that's coming "soon." When is soon and what do you mean by something? If you haven't noticed already, the new world order is unraveling before our eyes and since AT&T is in bed with the government, they play a key role in how this entire thing evolves. That something that everyone is referring to is the total collapse of the United States and the ushering in of a one world government. Think this is a joke? Why do you think all of these fortune companies are merging, consolidating, and hiring disposable work forces? Why do you think companies, like AT&T, will give you $10 to sign-up for auto-pay from your checking account to pay your cell phone bill? That's because they (the establishment) want a cashless society. Debit cards, credit cards, bitcoins...most financial transactions on the planet (AT&T's Logo) are paid with one of the above via AT&T's infrastructure/network. When sh!t does hit the fan soon, within the next 5 years, wait....5 years? That's 2020? <--Sound familiar? Don't take my word for it though....stay vigilant my fellow colleagues.

Looks like the company did not wait until March to drop people. a lot of departments were hit mid February.
What does NIBS do? Is that circuit provisioning and repair for business customers?
we are being told 50% of Business Services management will be hit mid March 2016 and those left will have to pick up the slack. Now were wondering what will happen if they hire more contractors. the layoff's are directly connected to the increase in use of contractors who are managing their own work end to end. they get service orders then arrange work and order what's needed to do the work.
It's coming to the outside Techs (N.I.B.S. Network Infrastructure -Business Services on 3/15/16 an announcement will be made. It will eliminate those departments.
You don't just walk away from a company that you have a very deep emotional attachment to," . "But I think I'm a better employee if I have one foot out the door. It keeps you from being complacent."
You always read about someone else, AT&T have become quite efficient at laying people off and you have to be cognizant that you could be next. It's a useful paranoia."
