There was an internal email distributed today saying they were going to look at reducing staff.

Here is the only part I have access to right now: "...it is now necessary to consider the appropriate workforce needs our new environment requires. We have asked each organization in our company to provide input so we can evaluate how to best reduce our staffing given the lower activity we now anticipate. We will be considering that analysis in the coming weeks, and plan to have the majority of changes and transitions defined and communicated by the end of the first quarter."
There is no looking. There will be layoffs. Lots.
