AT&T would be in the "stay away from list", I work with managers that have not idea what Technology is, There are companies in the tech sector hiring right now, If you don't keep shining your own Self Value/Worth., Others will begin to treat you as you treat yourself. Stand Up and Stay Up and keep moving forward because sometimes that job may no longer be available at AT&T...and that day is more certain than ever!!!
abracadabra....FOUND MONEY!!!! I love how ATT becomes the houdini of financials. They just FIND money.
ATO....such a sorry excuse for an organization. They literally have hundreds of programmers on staff and makes them all do data entry. They also kill every software project people try making.
Of course AT&T is short on cash they have to recoup their 50+B directtv investment. Here at ATO we can not raise $1. We are asked to do more and more with less people and utilize open source software as much as possible.
Any one else notice the lack of AT&T advertising during the NFL playoffs and new Xfiles? They must really be hurting for operating cash.
401k needs five years to be vested. Sorry, you cannot trust at&t, that"s why jf you have a pension you need to remove it ftom Fidelity to an IRA etc with another company as at&t is still in control of it. There is no guarantee they will pay it out.
It depends, you have to have worked for a certain number of years before it becomes vested. I apparently lost it. also they took away the matching 401k funds saying you did not stay for more than 3 years. They lay me off and then tell me I didn't stay and hence nothing vested, no matching 401k and the pension funds were cut off.
No, you get to keep your pension even if you're let go.
