Are they still going to be generous?

UK layoffs early this year were NOT generous. However, they weren't just legal minimum, either, so there shouldn't be any complaints. And don't forget UK salaries are much lower than USA.
UK been told statutory legal :-( https://www.gov.uk/calculate-your-redundancy-pay would love to know if other geos do better
Each round seems, from rumour, to have been given less than the previous round.
The layoffs earlier this year were not generous! Better than a kick in the teeth, but by no means generous.
Citrixisntcitrix - u nailed it
Are you serious? They answered this question by initiating an "operational review." They will be trimming everywhere. What's so difficult to understand here? The whole thing has been spelled out from the beginning. Stop allowing your fear to take control of your common sense. This is a game. They have all the cards. You are not allowed to play. Your (my) only relief is to sell your value as a professional on the open market.
C'mon people! Show your mettle here. I know you. I work with you. You're better and smarter than this board displays. Pick yourself up and go get your revenge.
They were VERY generous last time around.
Citrix is a sheep to be sheared, they only offer severance to mitigate risk of lawsuits, not because they are fine guys and gals.An extra week of severance across 1,000 employees is a couple of million dollars that will improve earnings and drive up their stock price.
Elliot seems to look after its people.....

Elliott makes it a point to go after severance...I'd expect it to be less generous.
I would not be concerned, Elliott Management is a well regarded generous patron of US workers
