I'm sorry to hear that. Just remember, when it comes to a class action age discrimination suit, it makes no difference what you had to sign in order to get your severance. You can call the EEOC to verify that. When Verizon was NYNEX, they lost a huge age discrimination suit. Apparently, vz's "magical millenials" and the J Crew Jerk Off are too young to remember that, otherwise, they wouldn't have premiered their "Millenials are the Best" video the DAY BEFORE firing so many veterans . As other RIF'd employees have said, all you have to do is file a complaint with the EEOC and be able to provide verifiable details. THEY will investigate, and they will file their own lawsuit if they feel laws were broken. It won't be hard to get a lawyer to take on a class action suit against vz once an EEOC case has been made public.

I was laid off and my replacement was a college student. I am 50+ and been with the company for over 20 years...
