Probably telling her to prepare for 1st Qtr 2016 RIFs by identifying and eliminating redundancies in her new "REALIGNED" staff. Comes down to do whether you want to be RIF'd by somebody you know? or don't know?.

My 1st level is meeting with my 2nd and 3rd level today, no reason given as to why. I doubt RIF's but never know. They just realligned my 1st level's area to add more techs and offices under her because someone left on their own.

It's true. Nov 5th is the day we were told notifications will go out to the groups for Network Ops & IT. This is just round one so brace yourselves. I've been going through this since 2006. Keep your resume updated at all times. This company is rapidly changing and not always for the best. This change is not energizing any of us. Be strong folks!

There is a strong speculation that wireline IT will have a cut this Thursday. Question is how.much cut? Is it 10, 15, 20, 30, 40%?

Given that they have many onsite H1b contractors, they can cut all US citizen employees and keep non citizen employees. If needed they will pump money to the vendors to bring in more H1b contractors next week.

CiOs should make it public the count of citizens vs non-citizen cuts if they are not biased.
