Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I'm sure the layoffs will continue for some time but

what changes are going to be made eventually? I wonder if the QC will still be calling people every 2 hours just like a collection agency? UOP doesn't set the standard. The top dogs say they this is an ethical institution. Why? Because you "follow the law"? Following the law doesn't make calling folks every 2 hours from 8am to 8pm ethical.

Changes do not come, just reduce the cost. layoffs till enrollment stabilizes then adjust the cost the number of employees. There is not any command decisions that can get us back to 500 thousand students. It was a perfect storm of growth now the reduction to about 80-120 thousand students with the coming layoffs now and probable again in March & October 2016. ACC Or QC will probably have about 100 employees, so after Nov 19 2015 there will still need about another 100 employee reduction by October 2016.

Hope you're ready to have Verint tell you what time to take your breaks, lunch and report you to your manager for not making a dial in any period of 15 minutes.

If people ignore you once, what makes you think calling more often is going to improve their desire to talk to you?
