A few friends of mine got offers from Websense recently. I was surprised, because after they were acquired by a private equity company, that PEC spent considerable amount of time trying to move operations from San Diego to Texas, citing lower cost while having decent available talent in Texas. According to the ones that I know that got hired recently in San Diego, that didn't turn out to be the case. That'swhy Websense is rehiring in San Diego. If true, it's funny.

WebSense moved sales, marketing, and other operational aspects to Texas. The San Diego office remains the home of the technology portion of the company. They are always looking for good software, systems & networking, CM, and other engineering types.
my PC got an offer from Websense that it couldn't refuse. thanks IT.
Rumor has it that OP is a dipshit
Once you go to Texas, you can come back, but only in a body bag. Dipshit open carry idiots
Hahaha the should change the company's name to Web Nonsense. Chortle chortle.
all rumor. everyone knows - if you go Texan, you DON'T come back. much like coffee talk - once you go Black, you don't go back. Douche!
What was even more surprising was those that took the offer from Websense that I know also said it didn't take that long for them to find something in San Diego, especially if they were consdering startups. 3 weeks on average from the time of a phone screen to an offer.
