For all people who say there are no layoffs and that layoffs are fake news - I dont know where severance is paid but in India everyone believes you dont have assignment for 30 days... you are gone...thats hard but thats reality... Long gone days of VSP... people who were actually useless got fortune to leave company which anyway they were about to...but de facto no bonuses..no hikes...is true..

today in US Dell layoff all contractors , do not encourage these kind of companies.
It's going to get worse.
I've been working for dell India almost 3.5 years. First few months were fine, after that they work us like slaves. Weekends and nights also. You have to be avalable for the customer all the time, no questions asked. Family suffers. I have had no salary hike or sick days since I joined. Work work work. That's all, but the company does not respect that and they are treating us really bad - managers are not good.
I have been working for Dell for past 1.5 yrs. But dell doesn't show any empathy to its employees and mercilessly asking for work. They ask us to show human dimension to its customer's. But doesn't show it to its employees. No salary hike and no person can go sick. Simply pathetic
I have been with the company for 3 year also no salary increase
i have got no hike since i joined the company, its been 2 years now.
also i don't see any future in this company .
