I've been tracking this board for a while, I work in IT. Do you know what's the severance payment for this batch of people that will be laid off from University of Phoenix. I know that things have been changing as time goes on, just curious if this severance will be the same as the previous one. I've seen conflicting reports, and I do not want to ask HR or my boss about this. I am actively looking for a job and would not mind if I am laid off first. Do you think I might be able to ask to be laid off if they indeed still offer a reasonable severance. Thank you.

Anonymous 183233 don't be a hater to"sad day" just because you hate yourself doesn't make you intitled to bash others. Obviously you were once a former UOP low performer that couldn't cut it!
@Sad Day--Your English writing is appalling and it betrays your UOP "education". There is no real education going on in this diploma mill. Find a local community college and learn how to communicate more concisely and coherently.
UOP is a good school and they offer a great education for those that want it. It is a sad day for employees that work hard and have to support their families. I hope and pray that UOP will one day prosper again their intentions are to help everyone who wants a chance for an education. Stop bashing UOP it is obvious that you folks who post garbage don't get it!
Get a life your hurting many good people by your negative posts.
It's only went to eligible people.
Don't play dumb. You know an email was sent out.
What email?
I know an email was submitted just recently but no word about IT. Just worry about working and having these systems work correctly instead of what you should get. This is a right to work state...technically they don't have to give you anything, so keep working so the rest of us can do our jobs, chump!
