I don't know what you are thinking...but you definitely do not realize how much me (and your other customers) rely on your drivers! They are dedicated, friendly employees. The are great people and deserve to keep their jobs! Your carrier service will not be able to provide the service that your current drivers do. This is a very big mistake on Staples part. I don't have to tell my driver where to put my cases of paper, he knows exactly where to stack them. He is also very friendly and I feel like he is a part of our group here at UAlbany!! How dare you lay off thousands of workers! For what? To save a few pennies? These drivers have BUSTED THEIR BUTTS for your company and this is how you repay them after years and years of breaking their backs to deliver your items! I hope Staples loses the state contract!!!!

Bitchin*'s fine, but what you really should be doing is this - WRITE YOUR CONGRESSPERSON - tell 'em that the "top dogs'" salaries should be slashed to save the "peons'" jobs. Thank you to the person who posted this , good delivery drivers do take care of their customers and I will continue to do so till my last day. To all the customers out there, if your driver took care of you , take care of your driver, give them a hand up not a hand out. I hope this reaches every customer! Pass this on people
WOW! Well said, but the BIG surprise is Staples still has the NY State University contract! Wait until all these companies realize they don't need ANY office supplies retailer. The Amazon/UPS drivers are very nice too...
