Just found out last week that our district is going to layoff 20 percent of the workforce. The atmosphere of the layoff decimates morale from top to bottom. Anyway the layoff will be seniority based and I'm about middle of the pack so I guess I'll be safe....for now. The district has been struggle to remain profitable. This in part has led me to become a minimalist and had sold my house and disposed most of my possessions already. Keep fingers crossed.

It's not seniority based. Who ever told you that, thinks you're stupid and will believe anything. It is most certainly always the in crowd, family, friends and faggot boyfriends who keep their shit.
