@671 -- You think Xiaomi is garbage phones. you are probably living under a rock and are not aware of the new dynamics of the mobile industry. no wonder people like you - not adaptable to market forces - bring down once great companies like qualcomm. xiaomi's completely revolutionized business model -- its like netflix and blockbuster. also, US phones are 2-3 generations behind because of operators who want to make their money back on subsidized phones, now that is decoupled with phone leasing you will see what will happen.
They sell like 5 phones a year. They want to bring their GARBAGE phones to the US and think they'll sell. That's too funny. People will love all the dropped calls. Americans like quality not GARBAGE from theives.
Xiaomi can buy the spun off qct, and since Q owns a small slice of xiaomi, it's like cousins inbreeding.
