We have lots of the previous edition in stock and on the shelves. WTH are we supposed to do with them? Awesome! I suspect because we don't have the specific book that the professor wants to use, most students will buy online. What a cluster fck. Jesus Christ on a crutch, what a ucked up organization.

CNS you've been bulling and bad mouthing the other departments since the initial change of leadership so take 75% of the credit where the company is now. Some talent you have.
You need to think outside of the box. If we had more CNS related thought processes, we would be thriving. Recognize the talent.
CNS is a profit center???? Really?
I think it is important for Follett to succeed that the rest of the talent at Follett be within at least 75% of the CNS talent. We can't carry the whole company any longer.
CNS, CNS, CNS complained that all of the problems came from all the other departments and played a major roll in the layoffs. Bravo CNS you accomplished your mission assisting in riding all the rest of the talent Follett once had.
RG and the family need to understand that 30 people high jacked this enterprise, forced the knowledge out the door, and even if corrective action is taken those of us remaining have a hell of a hole to dig the company out of because the 30 strained our relationships with vendors, institutions, and consumers.
Across the enterprise, with the exception of CNS, CNS, CNS
Can I get an Amen for that!
Apply the same incompetence across the enterprise. From management to retail, supplies to real estate, legal to IT Follet purged the people who knew its business. Better like what's coming home to roost. This shit don't just happen, this shit was made.
Mike D must be laughing his a off. This is what happens when you get rid of your associates with years of dedicated service and knowledge. Hey, we got a warehouse full of books! They're the WRONG books that nobody wants. We just need to talk the profs into using books that they don't want to use. Thanks genius, I wish I was as smart as you think you are. As MLS liked to say, we can fix that! How about a bonfire? You with the 6 1/2 hat size, you'll make a GREAT VP!
You must be new. No school wants to be caught using an old edition. This is what happens when you hire people that have absolutely zero knowledge about the book industry. And are unwilling to learn how this industry works and operates. They need to be fired.
Will the store buy any of them back? No? How about any online book buyback? No? Such a deal!
Perhaps a Follett text employee may want to speak with professors about the new v old edition? Most professors are very open to hearing about the cost comparison. You may lean that those people with PhD after their names may know a thing or two.
In Follett World!
Yes of course they get credit for the sale.
In what world do I fulfill an order for another store but the other store gets credit for the sale?
