KC and EV have used that brand to feed their massive egos at the cost of many nameless souls. They love to go to Europe to work on the "business" when it's been shrinking steadily. But you'll never see them going to SoAmerica or Russia where business has grown. Oh no they don't do "third world". It's because they fancy themselves as "fashionistas" and treat their trips as shopping trips. While everyone else does the dirty work. Shame on them. Moschino my ass. Did that trip sell one more doll at Walmart? It probably erased a whole season's profit more likely. But I'm sure it was fun sipping champagne and kissing Moschino's ass while everyone got laid off. Bravo Barbie leaders, bravo indeed.

Love the last post on the 1st class boondoggle trip to Milan costing thousands while real workers get laid off. How typical and they do that on a regular basis when they send themselves to Hong Kong for a two week shopping trip. Gotta love this place eh ;) .....
They place is worse. Everyone carrying 3x the workloads after all the layoffs. Ev, Kim C, RB and other VPs just had a trip to Milan to watch the Moschino fashion show. Right after our Labor Day layoffs. Thanks you seamstress for your hard work as we fly business class to Italy, eat, drink, nice hotels. The divide between the have and the have nots is increasing. HR is a joke. They are not looking out for the little guy. Venting will only get you on the black list.

The sad truth is NO ONE AT THE TOP OF THE PILE HAVE EARNED THEIR SALARIES. Not one of them has done anything that increased the bottom line the same amount they are compensated. They should feel ashamed, but instead drink champagne.
Yes, all the executives @ the top of the tower are laughing all the way to the bank & can't blame them as that what they do. Hell, I'd be doing the same thing. You think A. Kaye cared? As long as he's still able to go to the Staples Center on Mattel's dime he's great & he's sitting with millions of dollars. Everybody laughing. It's all good as MattHell has turned into the laughing stock of the toy biz for Hasbro, Lego, MGA, etc....The tower execs will really be laughing after Q4 results. Yes, they probably do. But this site has been distributed to many an investment firm as well as online financial institutions that report on mattel. They can laugh all they want but when more and more firms don't give them a buy rating and the stock doesn't climb any further they'll be crapping their speedos.

RD is a clown who gets paid millions so he could care less. How many houses can you own RD? It really doesn't matter as this place is just infected. He's just part of the sickness and doesn't even have a clue which is why he left, as that Barbie House in China that he was responsible totally for failed. Millions of Chinese girls buying a tall blonde white chick with big breasts? Ya think? Jones was done when he ran it into the ground so now's he back here? For reals? This place is rotten to the core so let's just cash our pay checks while they are still good. This place started going south many years ago and it's not going to get any better. Worse, as others stated it was bad before but not improved since his arrival. Keeping terrible upper management while pushing TK out is awful. I do not know how it can get better it is so sad. Getting laid off allowed me to realize just how toxic rather atmosphere was, it's a relief to not have to pretend everything is okay and that the announcements make any logical sense.
The place had been damaged loooong before 2014. The culture has been poisoned by the horrible mismanagement for at least a decade. It had to get worse before there was even a chance it could get better. Was it too late though?
