I was part of a project prior to leaving the bank 2 years ago to calculate the cost of each location from salary to rent to the cost of the telephones. The Rochester building was bleeding money. It cost so many Tampa folks their jobs and they were asked to move from FLORIDA to a few miles from Canada in upstate NY. Shockingly those who fell in love with Chase and believed the tall tales of riches actually went from the ideal to hell. They worked for a while and then were laid off.
At all of Gordon Smiths town halls no one had the balls to ask any decent questions. I stopped attending because I got tired of hearing about his motorcycle vacations. Vacation? WTF is that? I took my a tropical trip vacation after 10 years of saving up and my boss made me attend 8 am CT meetings 3AM local for me.
Chase has benefits good enough to keep people but the smart and strong have left or were pushed out.
